Fall 2023 A Possible Epic of Care: Poetry Reading with Andrei Codrescu and Vincent Katz hosted by the Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation on November 30th will feature Andrei Codrescu and Vincent Katz reading from their new collaborative poem A Possible Epic of Care, published by Black Widow Press. The poets will be introduced by curator and Program Director, Alex Paul Chapin, and the reading will be followed by a reception and book signing. Summer 2023 Voices by Design-a series of "readings, conversations, and performance" hosted at Coffee by Design, featured a poetry reading with Vincent Katz and Claire Millikin on Wednesday, July 19th at 6pm at 1 Diamond Street, Portland, Maine. Event is free and open to the public. Spring 2023 An exhibition organized by The Poetry Foundation titled Alex Katz: Collaborations with Poets opened on February 18th at 2pm CST, the event featured a reading by Vincent Katz. On March 22nd, The Poetry Project hosted Happy Birthday Gerard Malanga! and featured the work of Gerard Malanga, with a Q&A hosted by Vincent Katz. On April 12th, the New York Studio School hosted a lecture by Vincent Katz titled Big Sky: Possibilities Within Poetry & Visual Art. In this lecture Katz will "highlight the work of poets who edited journals or magazines in the 1960s and ‘70s that combined visual art and poetry on their pages, creating venues where diverse modes of expression could meet and commingle". Fall 2022 Hosted by The Green Arcade, a poetry reading featuring Norma Cole, Aaron Shurin, and Vincent Katz took place at The Green Arcade at 6:30pm on November 18. Hosted by Grolier Poetry Book Shop, a poetry reading featuring Farnaz Fatemi, Matt Donovan, and Vincent Katz took place at Grolier Poetry Book Shop at 7:00pm on December 14, information and event registration can be found here. Spring 2022 Hosted by The Brooklyn Rail, host Bill Bankes-Jones moderates a discussion on While There's Light on May 31, 2022 at 1pm EST, featuring Vincent Katz, Sarah Sarhandi, and Rachel Levitsky as panelists. Winter 2022 Hosted by The Brooklyn Rail, Vincent Katz curates the 73rd Radical Poetry Reading on February 16th, 2022 at 1pm EST, featuring Benedicta Froelich, Eileen Myles, Trace Peterson, Andrei Codrescu, with an introduction by Phong Bui. Fall 2021 Hosted by The Poetry Project, a poetry reading featuring Elaine Equi and Vincent Katz, takes place at St. Mark's Church from 8:00pm to 10:00pm on October 27, tickets available starting September 27. August 2021 Sarah Sarhandi and Vincent Katz presented selections of their opera While There's Light, performed for the first time as part of Tête-à-Tête: The Opera Festival 2021.
